I recently purchased the Evolver desktop unit with version 3.0
installed and have now set up the software interface and seem to have
everything working properly.  I have turned to going through the
"Difinitive Guide to Evolver" by Anu Kirk and have a question about
the setup of the basic patch.  It is sugggested that all 4 oscillators
should be set to C0, and then have the global tranpose setting to -24
effectively bringing the basic patch to a tone of c-1.  This is a very
low crunchy distorted sound and I was wondering if anyone knows the
reasoning behind having the patch setup in this configuration versus
starting the patch on middle C?

Also, does anyone have the original zip file with the basic patch
sysex file - if so can you post where it can be found?

Finally, does nayone know how to trigger a midi note just prior to
changing to a new patch where the new patch would then play in the key
of the midi note selected?
