Hi there evolver-people! I would like to know if there's a way to edit individual programs within the PER while in combo-mode. As I understand from the manual of the PEK, this is possible on a PEK (although it seems that it is impossible to save the edited programs this way), by selecting a part using the 'part-buttons'. However, there are no such buttons on a PER! I would be very happy if I could edit idividual programs in a combo by sending sysex from my (mono) evolver. However, when I try to do this, all parts of the combo are affected, except those parts that are set to not receive (any) MIDI messages. Of course, setting parts to not receive MIDI-messages, makes it impossible to play these parts from my sequencer (logic). So editing individual programs this way does not make much sense; I can as well go into program-mode! Is there some way around this? E.g. a MIDI-message that selects a part (such that sysex messages sent after this message only affect the selected part)? I don't find it in the manual so I'm quite pessimistic... By the way, is this possible using one of the editors? If it is, then there IS a way around this :-) Thanks! Best to you all, Tomas.
