RE: [Evolver] replicating a subtractor patch

2006-08-30 by Andrew Capon

Hi,

The subtractor patch is using a bandpass filter followed by a low pass
filter so replicating this in a single evolver patch will be difficult.

You could possibly use a combo and patch the output of one of the voices
to the audio in (with a couple of patch leads on the back) then you
could use the lowpass and highpass filters to get the bandpass filter on
the first voice and then use the audio in on the other voice and use the
lowpass on that. Probably a bit too much hassle!

Cheers

Andy

Subject: [Evolver] replicating a subtractor patch

Greetings.

I have been unsuccesfully trying to replicate a patch from Reason
Subtractor (located in the fx folder: "Malfunction Lead") Has anyone
been trying to do something like this on the PolyEvolver? is it
possible that Subtractor would do things that the Poly will not?

I am trying to have the Poly play all my previous virtual keys
sounds...I really want to leave virtuals for sketching only. Would
greatly appreciate help on this matter. Thank You.
