Hi there, You will need to update your tabletop to version 3.0 software if you wish to use the MEK for 2-voice polyphony. You can use a lower version software version but the 2 voices won't sound identical. Once you have the same patches loaded in both units you can edit the tabletop using the MEK and everything works flawlessly. I was sorta hesitant to buy a MEK (my girlfriend asked, "so it's basically the same as your tabletop version but with knobs and keys" and yes while true, it is so much more. It has really opened the instrument and having 2 voices for the pads/leads is HEAVEN.
