Re: [Evolver] Poly Evolver compared to Prophet VS

2007-01-11 by Dale (Inquisitor Betrayer)

I picked up a PEK a few weeks ago, hooked it up a few days ago
and I am very impressed with the sound compared to my other synths ...
going to be hard to compare it to anything other than another from DSI ...
previous, only compare I did previous was at NAMM with head phones and the web mp3s... nada like real life with your
stuff for a real one on one ... ;-)

This is a good way to look at it. I would also suggest scouring the net - I'm sure you'll find
some VS samples/demos online to listen to. Compare these to the Evolver demos on the
DSI site. It won't be a side-by-side-exact-patch-comparison but it will get you close.
