Remember the Evolver is not quite like other "analogue" synths -- much
of the analogue signal path is internal to the "synth on a chip" that it
uses (2 per voice).

It's obvious that there must be an analogue input point before the
filters (which the evolver uses to inject the signal from the digital
oscs and external input), but it seems possible that there's no way to
_output_ the analogue osc signals at that point.  Of course maybe there
is ... :-) anyway the point is that the E is probably a bit more
constrained and less trivially hackable than other analogue synths.
