Exactly what i'm trying to do, change the patterns on the fly.
But if it resets the next pattern you'd have to be very
quick & precise if you don't want to be out of sync, you miss it
once and that's it

I have to disagree here, i find the Evolver
very inviting for Live, that is if you stay
on the same pattern.

I'm sure you like the way the Electribes work
together. Well a simple fonction on the Evolver, let's say
you press shift b4 switching to another program
so the pattern will only change to the next measure,
would change everything (for me at least) when working Live.

Anyways, i love my Evolver but I'd just love to have
this option and i'm sure it's not
hard to implement, well at least not for Dave ;)

Me typically - with my ES1, ER1 and Polymorph. I dynamically create &
change the patterns (and sounds) as they play. I wouldn't consider
using the Evolver's sequencer live except as a rhythmic trigger for
different waves, notes supplied by me or as a means to chop up
incoming audio. It simply doesn't have a user interface suitable - for
my needs anyway.
