Actually, I belive the pedal and breath controller inputs on the MONO Evolver Keyboard are labeled as CV1 & CV2. And to answer your question, Tom, YES pedal/cv1 and breath/cv2 ARE mod destinations..... So Tom, before you go out and buy a $1200 keyboard to experiment on, I recommend you send an email to Dave Smith asking him what voltages levels are safe for the CV1 & CV2 inputs. He is very quick to respond to most queries. -Jim ----- Original Message ---- From: Julian <jujulilianan@...> To: DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tuesday, April 3, 2007 9:36:31 PM Subject: Re: [Evolver] A wireless ZigBee Enabled Evolver??? as far as I know, the evolver does not have cv inputs. it has external signal inputs. they're very different things. I think the external signal input can be used to generate an amplitude envelope, that can then be used as a mod source, but since I never use evolver as a signal processor, I could be wrong. Anyway - why bother with CV? why not use zigbee to just send MIDI to the evolver? you can do PLENTY with the evolver using MIDI (SysEx especially) you can tweak any parameter at all. And if you can program your zigbee adapters to generate these sysex messages from generic MIDI controller data that you would send over the air (should be trivial for someone who knows how to code microcontrollers) then you can do everything on the evolver wirelessly. I still don't know why you'd want to all this, though. -- http://bleepin. com -- http://www.fastmail .fm - mmm...
