Basically I'm in love with early '80s Japanese synth pop. I want a synth that can make that sound. Can you guys listen to this song and assure me that I can? It's by a Japanese band called Chakra, released in 1981. It was actually produced by Haruomi Hosono of YMO. I'm particularly interested in the synth during the verses (beware: the singer's voice is off-key during those parts...it's kind of her schtick). They use that sort of springy, sprightly sound a lot. Can the PEK do that? And if not... If anybody knows what the synth is, or what it could be, that would also be great! Here's a link to the song. (btw, I don't know if this is illegal to provide a link, but the album is out of print and you can be assured that nobody is going to care that I post one song). http://www.sendspace.com/file/71gy7d I'm not a fan of downloading random songs, but this would help me a lot. Thanks!
