Can the PEK create early '80s Japanese synth-pop sounds?

Basically I'm in love with early '80s Japanese synth pop. I want a
synth that can make that sound. Can you guys listen to this song and
assure me that I can? It's by a Japanese band called Chakra, released
in 1981. It was actually produced by Haruomi Hosono of YMO. I'm
particularly interested in the synth during the verses (beware: the
singer's voice is off-key during those parts...it's kind of her
schtick). They use that sort of springy, sprightly sound a lot. Can
the PEK do that? And if not...

If anybody knows what the synth is, or what it could be, that would
also be great! Here's a link to the song. (btw, I don't know if this
is illegal to provide a link, but the album is out of print and you
can be assured that nobody is going to care that I post one song).

I'm not a fan of downloading random songs, but this would help me a
lot. Thanks!

Just listened to the clip. I'm a new Evolver owner so I've spent some
time checking out the factory patches and the patches available for
free on line. The Evolver seems more than capable of the synth parts,
but you'll need the Poly, of course, to play the chords, and 4 voices
will limit your layering. But as far as matching the tones you're
looking for, no problem.
