It should be possible if you can assign your sequencer to send CC data.
if youre intent on using hardware why not just use the evolvers own sequencer? you could 
have a 64 part melody made of 4 programs. you'd have to sequence the program changes 
though somehow.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
