As i said the layout is based on the keyboard version of the evolver. its a compromise 
between being as small as possible and fitting in 128 parameters! my first version was 
about 4 times as big. 

Its possible that one could make a plugin for Logic that sends/recieves sysex, as Logic is 
better at dealing with that kind of thing than Live. Its tricky, or at least, slow, for me to 
test multiple platforms and DAWS though.

In fact you could probably build a pretty nice editor in the Logic Environment! thats what 
its for....

but no it won't work without the UDP.app at present. the UDP app channels the sysex  
between the VST and the Evolver.
