Re: [Evolver] Midi control to each oscilator on desktop evo?

2008-03-25 by tremorcore

it actually makes quite a bit of sense if you're looking for a way to
use a sequencer to track the pitch of each osc, or if you just want to
play each osc's pitch independently via a keyboard.

i use tobybear's N2CC midi VST plug-in to do this. with 4 instances of
N2CC, you can control all four oscillators independently. you just
have to send a sustained note-on to the evo to get the synth engine
running. it also makes life easier if you have each oscillator's
level set to a fader or knob on your controller... so you can quickly
mute/solo each osc.

it's not like you have 4 evo's this way, since all voices are going
through the same synth routing. but it's cool, nonetheless.

any host that can run *midi* vst plugs should work.
