Hey Ed! Being totally biased towards the evolver and never having used a blofeld, I think the evolver would be a great choice to use with your EWI. It's got a dedicated mod-slot for breath control as well as 4 other mod-slots in which you can have breath control as a modulation source, so you wouldn't be lacking in expressive control. And if it's 'wickedness' you want, well, you really can't get much more wicked than some of the sounds an evolver can make.
