much as i love my 2 evolvers , the whole concept of stepped control of a modular synth 
seems a bit flawed to me. so many parameters have audible stepping when you change them 
on the fly.

 env1 amount for instance, essential to tweak any acid line,  sounds terrible when tweaked 
live, all kind of discontinuities. the sequencer kind of make up for this its true, but i can't 
help thinnking how powerful the evolver would be if all the parametrs were smoothed.

as for the keyboard versions of the evolver and poly evolver, i can't see the point in having 
alot of knobs that do not provide smooth control of the sound. they look nice, but how much 
nicer with smooth control!
