Unfortunately The Poly Evolver won't work that way. You can't send a patch change to an individual part. This is contrary to the DSI claim that a "Poly Evolver is just like having four Mono Evolvers." This is why I sold my Rack and use an MEK and Desktop. Start/Stop of the sequencer is also a problem. I haven't found a way to trigger the sequencer whenever I want. The only way I found around this was to record a sequence to an audio track, then drag the audio track to where I want it in the song. For this reason I rarely use the sequencer. Too bad because otherwise its great. These two issues are unforgivable in my opinion. I'm sure DSI knows about them because I (and probably others) emailed DSI about them, and they're generally good about reading their emails. -- Iain ________________________________ From: DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of chuckchilloutfr Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2009 4:44 PM To: DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DSI Synths] play different programs in cubase hello everybody, I've got my PEK since few days and I'm struggling with combis and sequences ! Manual is not very clear for me, especially the way of using the 4 sequencers and combis. I use Cubase LE and (for exemple) in my arrangement I would like to set midi tracks like this : - midi track 1 route to : PEK's midi channel 1, to play program 4) - midi track 2 route to : PEK's midi channel 2, to play program 115) - midi track 3 route to : PEK's midi channel 3, to play program 37) - midi track 4 route to : PEK's midi channel 4, to play another program's sequence How can I set the PEK for that ? Also I noticed that sequences play automatically as I start playback in cubase ! Is it possible to avoid it ?
