I do the opposite:  pair an Access Virus Indigo with a DEK.  One of them has a reputation for being "too dark" and the other has a reputation for being "too harsh".  Played together, it sounds like you got your peanut butter in my chocolate.

If I could do it all over again, I probably would have gone MEK and TI desktop.  But I was four or five years too early and a couple of thousand dollars short.
