Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Pots will give us 3 things over encoders
1) Smoother operation
2) More accurate operation
3) Reliability

Personally, the 3 hundred bucks will be well spent on this conversion...

Forgive my lack of understanding. Does the pot 
upgrade give knob turning a smoother transition than encoders? I'm trying 
to understand what this upgrade gives us.
