I personally like encoders....

1) one click gives one numerical increment
2) they have acceleration, spinning faster makes the numbers change faster
3) They don't get dead spots and never contribute to scratchy audio while turning
4) They never end ! (until you reach max value)

Now, these instruments could use higher resolution encoders (more pulsed per degree turned) and maybe better software programming to make encoder response customizable.....so everyone can be happy.....

    Forgive my lack of understanding. Does the pot upgrade give knob turning a smoother transition than encoders? I'm trying to understand what this upgrade gives us.
