Also aren't the encoders on a PEK free running, so they don't click per value anyway?

I personally like encoders....
1) one click gives one numerical increment2) they have acceleration, spinning faster makes the numbers change faster3) They don't get dead spots and never contribute to scratchy audio while turning4) They never end ! (until you reach max value)Now, these instruments could use higher resolution encoders (more pulsed per degree turned) and maybe better software programming to make encoder response customizable.. ....so everyone can be happy.....BobEl Segundo, CA
