Mine seem fine. I seen a few times they skip but overall, they work well.

Sealed pots like in MOTM ... now that I might be interested in...
Dust out there in my area, a killer.

  However, have to agree with Bob in that if the encoders were better quality and programmed differently, I wouldn't mind keeping them over pursuing the pot conversion....
