I am unclear from your post. Are you saying that if
you hit a note, you hear it, then if you take your finger off, then hit another
note, you hear nothing? If so, that is very wrong.
On the other hand, if you are saying that if you
hold down note one and press a second key you don't hear the second
note take over and cut out the first even if you have LAST NOTE
chosen, then that is wierd too. Perhaps make sure you don't have a silent
sequence going on . . OR make sure you midi set up is not causing
problems, ie. try the evolver with midi in only just in case you are setting up
a midi loop.

I could live with Last Note. What it's doing is First Note - which
is more than slightly annoying. Makes my CS-15 more 'playable' at the
moment - not better - just more playable. :)
