I do clearly remember that the sequencer stages (notes) had to be adjusted, because since the evo sequencer tunes in quarter note increments, it won't directly translate with a standard midi instrument. So you just have to put in a little more time to edit each stage so it sends the note information you want. I notice that the manual states otherwise, it says that puts out the midi note plus one. But I distinctly remember sitting there turning the encoders for each step, and hearing my modular going up and down by quarter tones. Maybe I don't understand the manual - that's always a strong possibility! Give it another try!
