I hope you are doing Save As rather than Save! Anyway, when you do Save As it lets you choose a path. Pick something obvious...like the desktop! Execute the Save As, then switch focus to the desktop and see if the file showed up. If it did, then set up a folder somewhere on your hard drive to store patch banks and Save As to that folder. As multiple posts here will attest, the Soundtower software is not the most user friendly :( I use it only for bank management and naming patches.
