Hello,
Can you connect your midi controller to your Audio-Midi interface via Midi cable?
Try to use midi connections only for your set-up.
Also check witch interface you using within Logic to trigger your gear (im sure you can choose the midi device in midi clip/track. Eg from in-> PCR800 to out -> tetra usb or UM880). Im not familiar with any of your gear or logic so I may be wrong.
Hope this help.
Sry for my bad english.

This is how Audio Midi Setup is configured:

PCR800 keyboard/controller connected via usb to mac mini. Set to use internal MIDI interface in the keyboard. ( I've tried both settings on and off )Midi cables go to the UM880 midi connections 1. If I turn the interface setting on the FS1R will play via the midi connections but this bypasses Logic.

DSI Tetr4 connected to Mac Mini via USB. (Logic can send Midi from keyboard to this)I can play through keyboard or logic. If the keyboard interface is turned on then the FS1R and the Tetr4 both play simultaneously. (unwanted behavior)

Eridol UM880 connected to Mac Mini via usb. Appears in Audio Midi Setup and can have devices connected. Appears to work, but

Yamaha FS1R connected to midi midi connectors 4 I/O of UM880.
DSI Evolver connected to midi Midi connectors 3 I/O of UM880.

I am able to create midi instruments for all of the connected midi devices. I have double checked the midi channels to insure they are correct.Logic sees the devices connected to the correct ports of the um880. (it call them ports).

All devices have their audio outs going through an external mixer to speakers and I can hear them when triggered by on device buttons.

The Tetr4 can receive midi from both logic and from the keyboard thru logic and it does sound through speakers.

Neither of the other units respond to midi generated from the keyboard, but the midi indicator in logic shows they are receiving midi input, They just don't sound unless I set the keyboard internal interface on then the FS1R plays ( not through Logic though ).

In summary, devices connected through USB (class compliant) seem to work. Regular midi devices connected through the UM880 do not respond.

The FS1R will respond to midi input throughout the um880 when I put the keyboard midi I/O directly through the UM880 and manually select the FS1R, The evolver will not respond to midi from logic .The evolver parameter 7,7 and 7,8 are set according to the manual for keyboard or midi. (All)

Mac mini 2.66Ghz 750 GB HD 8GB Ram is running Snow Leopard 6.8. Logic version 9.1.4.

The Question is how can I make the non class compliant device sound through logic?
