Hi.

The virus is a superb tweakable polyphonic synthesiser.  It has been in the top ten of synths since its first release, and for good reason.

The filters thing - don't know.  I use my ears to test synths.  IF it's the highpass, lowpass thing then I'm not sure, but you can use various other parameters to control filter envelopes, within the advanced pages, though I never had call to.  I spent hours messing with the minimoog and the virus together on one day.  I bought the Virus.  The moog was nice, but monophonic, and a bit tiring to listen to.  The Virus sounded lush and awesome.  Still does, actually.

Love the DSI Tetra too, but I go for the virus for sound quality.
