Yes, I used arps for the sequences and the "leadline" is also played with a keyboard. > that phaser "Smallstone Phaser" is that the sound of > J.M.J on eqonox??(on the cr-78..or what it is..someone > of the old toysounding machines anyway:-)?? Yes. Every lushy sound you hear on Oxygene and Enquinox is going through a Smallstone :-) Even the Minipops drummachine. Jarre's technician, Michael Geiss, invented that trick with the phaser. He took a signal (for instance a stringsound), leaded it into the phaser, the he splitted the output signal of the phaser into two paths. One went directly into the mixer, panned fully left, the other went through a delay (completely wet!, about 0,5 to 1 second delay) into the mixer, panned fully right. This gives is very nice swirly filtersweep effect. You should try it. But first buy a Smallstone. The sound of that phaser is too unique to emulate. :-)) > trying to find a phaser that sounds "sweet" on my > tr-606...had a moogfooger for a while but that was > more suited for synthsounds(or guitars)..it sounded > better on bass freqs. As so many times, it is really a matter of experimenting. Regards,Boele
