Thanks for the tip, but I'm pretty familiar with subtractive 
synthesis.  Although this is the first REAL analog synth I've used, 
I also own a Nord Lead 2 and a Virus B which model subtractive 
synthesis.  One thing that I'm confident about in regard to the 
Evolver is the tweaking of the sounds - pretty easy, and very nice 
all around (with lots and lots of possibilities).

What I find most difficult is the midi implementation.  I wasn't 
sure if the sequencer transmitted midi data.  The consensus seems to 
be that it doesn't, so I can quit banging my head against the wall 
trying to get it to do something that it wasn't designed to do (this 
is really a relief - I thought mine might be defective).  As for 
other midi stuff (sending and receiving) I plan on fooling around 
with that tonight.  So far, I really like it and I think it will be 
a useful tool.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
