Hi Craig,
Assuming you understand the Evolver's various triggering options
(Manual 1.0 Page 26) 'Trigger Select', or the good old 'VCA Level' =
100 trick:

With guitar cable into 'Left In',
Turn down all OSCs/LFOs/etc and open the filter cutoff to max.
Raise 'Volume' to 100.
Set 'Ext In Mode' to "L".
Raise 'Ext In Vol' to 100.
Adjust 'Input Gain' accordingly.
You should hear something.
Adjust desired parameters accordingly.

I just sent an un-amped bass guitar into Evolver this way and it
worked for me.
Don't forget about the Distortions, Input Hack, or the 'In Peak Amt'
and 'Env Fol Amt' mod sources!

Have fun,
Chris

to pass through the Evolver. I can get the guitar to 'trigger'
things. I just can't figure out how to route the actual audio signal
so I can hear, say, it being modified by the filter.
