routing options

routing options

2003-04-28 by linuxmanvan

Hey, Im still a newbie to synth programming. I will say that the evolver is the easiest
synth i have ever touched in regards to programming and moving around with no
software. I wish all other synth companies would take note.
I am curious, can you modulate the pulse width with an lfo? I seem to have not seen it
in the manual ( maybe i am blind, i am a bit of an air head ). Also, can someone
suggest any creative routing options to produce subtley different tibres for ambiet,
trance etc..... ? This thing is so wide open I often find my self at a loss with what to
do.

Yes, it's quite easy to do pulse width modulation. Just check
the "Modulation Destinations" list in the owners manual, and you'll
see that "01P" and "02P" will do the job. On the Evolver, simply set
the destination of an LFO or two to "01P" and/or "02P".

Personally, I keep a hard copy of the "Modulation Sources"
and "Modulation Destinations" lists in front of my Evolver at all
times!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
