When u buy that... make sure you try it before.. all the splitters I've

I was able to hook up what I needed for headphones at Radio Shack. A female stereo minijack split to left right rca jacks and a couple of rca to 1/4 inch adapters. If you need to you can get a stereo mini to stereo 1/4 inch adapter if your headphones need it . . .

I use a Hosa STP-202 Y-cable with a Hosa GPP-105 coupler. The Y-
cable comes in various lengths. Both are sold by major online 
retailers such as 8thStreet.com
