killed it

Well lookin like I killed my Evo trying to update it. Tried using
both the editor and a program called SSX to update the thing. Both
would stop on number 31 in the pic countdown and crash my computer.
Even tried using Cubase SX with the mid file. Same problem. Now it
won't output any sound.

Sent a letter off to Dave and now waiting for him to tell me to send
the Evo back. Grr and I was starting to write a cool pice with it
too :(

Hi,
how does your evo look when you plug in the power. Does any of the
lights or diginumbers light? If yes, maybe it is not totally gone, and
it could be, that it was just a midiinterfaceproblem.
Anyway, i think you don't have to sent your evo back, Dave will sent
you som e new chips and you can change them carefully by yourselve.

Well I turned the Evo off and on a couple of times and I *think*
it's OK. I was able to use it, just to see if it would still work.
Still can't update the thing, so Dave is going to send me a new PIC
2.0. Yay!!
