hey all

I'm trying to stop my evolver from starting its sequencer when I hit play on
my MPC1000 which is generating midi clock

I've tried all the Midi Rec settings but I can't seem to stop the seq from
coming on
anyone?

Maybe you could try "NSr (or is it MSr??)" in the trigger select, and 
send note on messages from MPC?

have you switched the Midi Clock Setting on the evo to off (keeping it internal)?

Hi Richard,

Look at the bottom of page 15 in the manual:

Set the Midi Clock to 'in-' : Midi clock is received, but Midi 
Start/Stop/Continue messages are ignored.

This sounds like what you want.
