poly evolver question

poly evolver question

2004-03-28 by Ugo

since the poly is essentially 4 mono evolvers, will it
also have the ability to be used multitimbrally as 4
separate monosynths or is it built to only work as
a single polysynth?

too sad that the synthesis will not work together between the 4

Do you mean like an LFO from one voice modulating a destination in another? The Elektron stuff can do that.

in the Machinedrum, yes. the Monomachine can't have LFO's from one machine
modulate another (unfortunately); unless you route them to appropriate
MIDI machines and then run the MIDI out to the MIDI in. or as a fellow
Elektron/Evolver group person put it, "MIDI masturbation" :-)

YES ! i mean 20 LFO´s modulating the frequency a oscillator etc...
just think about an evolver x4 in every single way !

yip my sidstation can do this ;)

i hope mr smith will build up such power machine in the future ! an
evolver sampler groovebox supermachine would also be nice.. imagine
tweaking your own drumsamples on a evolver .... jammm
