Hi,
Can someone explain the posibilities of Midi automation with external
 sequencers? Is it posible to record the Evolver fader movments in 
external sequencer(Cubase SX)? Is it posible to use Evolver faders as 
a controller for other gear (synts,drum box,...)?
Im not an expert and i need some practical examples?

My understanding is that as of right now, the knobs on the Evolver do
not transmit MIDI, so, it wouldn't be possible to use it as a controller
for other gear or to record knob movements in an external sequencer.
However, Dave has indicated that such functionality may be implemented
in a future software release ...

I'm pretty sure they send sysex - but sysex is pretty unfriendly if
you want to do anything simple/clever with it at the other end....

Hi,
if the knobs send sysex then i supose it's posible. Cubase VST have 
special mixer maps where you can program virtual fader controllers for
controlling external MIDI devices.Then you can record and also edit 
the movements of this virtual faders.I think that other sequencers 
like Cakewalk,Logic,... also have this posibilities.Can someone try
this in Cubase VST (not in Cubase SX becouse it don't suport mixer 
maps).I order my Evolver yesterday and i'm courious if this is
posible.Automation is very important for my music production.
