I like it, though I don't use it as much as I could, and just program from the front panel of the evolver most of the time. More modern controllers seem to have a lot more functions, and are way better if you're mostly software based..... but for the evolver you need one with a pretty flexible SysEx implementation because the evolver takes its parameters split in nibbles. The more modern control surfaces seem to specialise in CCs and more limited SysEx implementations. Has anyone got a more modern MIDI control surface working with the evolver? Oh, and another question - the sounddiver PC adaptions available on the DSI website.. are these updated for the V2.0 evolver OS, or were they left behind when the soundtower editor came out? julian -- http://bleepin.com
