amazing to get all those sounds out of such a tiny machine isn't it? --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, trippler@t... wrote: > Nothing special this weekend, some more Evo sounds though:

It sounds fantastic in my monitors, Mp3 format (!) It should be on Dave's site. This synth is a dream come true. I just realized that i spent the last year looking to find a companion for my Evo + Waldorf XT at a decent price. Looked at many many options. My conclusion ? I think i should buy a second Evolver. Gives me a lot more options in live situations. I don't think the Poly is for me, but two Evo... Simon on 19/06/04 6:21 PM, trippler@... at trippler@... wrote:

I did some rearranging and mixing, added some leads and other stuff and cut some superfluous parts. I hope that the mix isn't too bad, my AKG headphones died during the mixing, I hope that the Evolvers subsonic frequencies weren't guilty of that ;-) A new download might be worthwhile -> http://www.trippler.net/files/mp3/krassomat.mp3 Regards Stefan ----- Original Message -----

Thanks again! (For the umpteenth time!) Very cool - I think that much of that song would fit well for a TV or movie soundtrack. Thumbs up! Hi Ski, thanks for your nice comments. I am amazed that somebody sees some hidden potential in my simple rock music tracks ;-) In fact I don't care much about the results but only enjoy to play and arrange with the Evolver. I have programmed a lot of sounds for VAs and softsynths recently. After all I can recommend for everyone to posess just one real analog synth. It's really relaxing to work with an analog synth for you need only a quarter of the time to get a good sound than with virtual analogues ;-) Regards Stefan ----- Original Message ----- From: "ski_ex5tech" <ski@...> To: <DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 2:00 AM Subject: Re: [Evolver] mp3 > Thanks again! I listen to everything you post, and it's really inspiring to know its all coming out of one little mono evolver. Listening to what you do, I think you could easily do well with a couple of electro record labels out there if you cared to put in the effort required.... though it would require you stretching the tracks out, and making them a little more predictable. the big effort though, would be finding a way to get them to actually listen to your demos. Or you could get yourself a nice neat looking young male vocalist, and write modern synth-rock. There's plenty of room for a band like that at the moment. > I have programmed a lot of sounds for VAs and softsynths recently.
