Hold down shift while powering it on...
weird alien nightlights....

No other button seems to do anything while powering it on...
Nothing seems to change the state once it's powered up in "shift" 
mode...

I also tried many button combinations...nothing yet...

Well, this was going to be discovered sooner or later:

Press the 1 and 2 row buttons at the same time.

Press the 1 and 3 row buttons at the same time.

They are the software and DSP versions.
