Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Hi... stupid newbie question here.

I can't get the sequencer to start at all. I know how to program sequences, but it just 
won't start. 

Any suggestions to what setting could need changing?

sorry... I finally figured it out. It was the midi clock setting.
