Since every step generates a note on message, then in order to create
rhythmic sequences, it's necessary to set UCA to 0 on the steps that
one wishes to be silent. Is that correct?
Also, my sequences, when I stop on a step that has a UCA set to
something other than 0, do not decay. The sound on which the
sequence stopped continues until I either restart the sequencer, or
stop the sequencer again on a step that has UCA set to 0.
Does this make sense? I am sure I am missing some basic. Playing
with the VCA envelope settings didn't seem to help.
