Looks like I am selling my PEK & custom PEK road case. I love the
darn thing to death, but it is not getting much time on the court
during gigs. I've taken it to a number of gigs only to find out I
can't fit it on stage and there is the ongoing hassle of dealing
with 3 keyboards and I'm sure you are familiar with this from
reading my posts about 2 or 3 gig keyboards.

What I'm doing is going with 2 PERs that will go to EVERY gig and
I'll still have the killer 8-voice sound of the PE everywhere I go,
minus the sweet keyboard & INCREDIBLE interface.

OK Eric, you ARE a nutcase!

: )

I would have ditched the electro for an Electro Rack.....

ah, but the electro has a great feeling keyboard - totally different to that
on the PEK so the thought process, to me, makes sense!

Guys, you're right. I'm a real NUT CASE, that's for sure!

I am still on the fence as to whether I can truly stomach losing my
PEK. But I did a trial the other night of using the PEK as a
controller for my Electro to see how I would like it if I did get an
Electro Rack. It was a totally different experience than using the
Electro's keyboard. The organs were the same (minus the smooth
waterfall keys), but the EPs and Clavs in the Electro were not
represented as well via the PEK keyboard. The max velocity values
were achieved very quickly and it was kind of hard to keep this
under control.

So while I though that the S90 + PEK + Electro Rack rig could be
viable, I think that the S90 + Electro + 2 PERs will work better for
me. The S90 really is a great controller keyboard and I'm very
pleased with how it interacts with the PE so far.

Regards,
Eric
