the JP6 has an xlr output!

if you need balanced outputs then simply get a nice stereo DI box (or 2
monos) & run very short audio cables from the synth output to the di box,
then xlr from there. thats what we do live.

the recent emu's have that nice feature of using balanced cables to run
audio out & back in to the unit, so enabling an fx send /return
configuration. quite handy sometimes...

Balanced out make sense on longer cables or an enviroment with quite some electro
magnetic emissions only. Since by adding an additional inverted version of the
signal, inverting and mixing it back together with the original signal, it
cancels out the unwanted signals received by the cable. Anyway, in that case
adding a DI-Box behind the synth can do that job as well.
