The Jupiter 6 might have an XLR output but it s certainly not a balanced output. I d have to agree, I don t think there are any synths with balanced outs. Even

Hello, the Jupiter6 HAS balanced out, check the manual page 2 i also open mine in the past and there is a transformer indeed ! the MKS80 also has balanced out the roland rd700 has balanced outs the new Virus TI has balanced out the kawai mp8 and mp9500 have balanced outs the k2500 does NOT have balanced outs the k2600 and k2661 do Regards --------------------------------------------------Env1-----Env2--Env3----------- Andrea.TONI@... Balanced out make sense on longer cables or an enviroment with quite some electro magnetic emissions only. Since by adding an additional inverted version of the signal, inverting and mixing it back together with the original signal, it cancels out the unwanted signals received by the cable.
