Survey: Evolver Vyzor

Survey: Evolver Vyzor

2006-03-09 by Simon

Do you think this editor will ever be released ?

I know Tony will answer and say yes, but it's been more than a year now
and way too much delays and excuses (we're moving, we've added new
features, it's NAMM 2005, we're still adding new features, IT'S NAMM
2006, Evolver is the hardest to program, we're about to beta test it,
etc...) that i'm giving up on them.

I returned the Soundtower editor a year ago cause i was not satisfied
with it (i wasnt the only one) AND because i thought the new Vyzor
editor would be released before 2012. Since i heard good comments
lately about soundtower editor, i think i'm going to go for it again.

I can't speculate about the Vyzor one getting released, but the
Soundtower one for PC I like just fine. I recently tried the Mac one
though, and its UI is vastly inferior to the PC version - I can't
recommend the purchase of that one.

The PC Soundtower editor is a bit naff, large portions of it could be
done better and it is slightly buggy but it's a hell of a lot better
than editing on the evolver.

Cheers

Andy
