Hi everybody,

I am the proud owner of 2 PERs, the serial numbers are about 100 apart. When I boot them 
up, the 'newer' one will briefly flash all its LEDs, while on the 'older' one, only the clipping 
indicator and the first voice LED will flash. So I was wondering, how does your PER boot up? Is 
the difference due to a subtle change in hardware, or should I be worried that one is not 
working properly?

P.S. The LEDs and LCD backlight on the 'newer' PER are also significantly brighter than on the 
older one.

I have 3 PER's and they all have different lights on at boot up.  I 
have no clue why that would be unless there are settings in a random 
state at boot up until the patch loads in.  I don't even get the same 
lights all the time on the same device even though the same patch is 
selected.
