Desktop Evolver Editor

Desktop Evolver Editor

2007-08-10 by the_three_nine

Hi all,

I just ordered a desktop Evolver and I have a quick question about
computer editors.

I understand there are a couple of editors available for sale. I'm
currently using a PC, but will be making the switch to Mac at the end
of the year. Are any of the editors available in both formats or
would I need to buy the editor again when I change to Mac?

Thanks! I will probably have loads more questions when my new baby
arrives.  :=)

If I remember this correctly, you will be given one serial for the pc
edition and one serial for the mac-edition when you purchase the
program, well atleast it was like that with the poly evolver editor.

As far as I can se you have all the programs for both platforms.

Hi the_three_nine
Thanks for the question. Our general policy is if you register one of them you shall receive another for free upon request. Generally it is best to email editors (at) soundtower (dot) com for this ( include register information)

On the Mac, the Vyzor editor is your best bet. It has a few rough
edges, but the feature set is fantastic ( it does almost too much
stuff. ) Looks *much* nicer than the Soundtower editor too ( which I
had terrible results with when I tried it, albeit over a year ago. )

Fair enough on the last year comparison. We have updated as of May 2007 and you might be pleasantly surprised regarding out Mac version.
Demo is free.

Yup,
That;s what I got.

SoundTower is pretty good about that sort of thing.
