About sequencer

Hello,
I read this WE the P8 operation manual ans some
questions arised regarding the segencer use.
I just have a mono evolver so I can compare a mono
synth with a poly one but how the sequencer is supposed to work in the P8, the
PEK and the PER? Does each notes starts a new instance or is the sequencer use
limited to a single voice? The gate time is fixed to 50% of the step time so I
guess this is always a single voice at a time except wit a very long release
time.
The P8 has also an arp. How does the 2 (arp+seq)
can be combined? Does the sequencer notes triggers the arp? Does the arp
triggers the sequencer?
It would be cool that even if the sequencer is
mono, at least it can be transposed by the key pressed.
