thinking of getting one but like to know how it sounds..
i like the sequeser with it:)
is it VR sounding vith the digital componences?

I'd recommend you listen to some of the mp3 samples at 
www.davesmithinstruments.com

You can also get a *lot* of sampled Evolver loops in .WAV and/or .mp3 
format by going to the following page at AMPFEA/Samplelibrary:

On that page, look for the items with "DSI Evolver · Demo Loops" in 
the title.

There are also some excellent .mp3 demos here in the Yahoo group.  
Just click on the "Files" section (link on the left).

Those should give you a very good idea of what the Evolver is capable 
of creating.

VR???

It sounds unique...fresh...new...interesting...the digital part is a 
tiger in an analogue tank...so you have to make sure that the volume 
of the several parts of the synthesis engine don´t start to make the 
clip light flash...unless you want it to clip...

The sound is creamy, full, warm, organic, EVOLVING.
