Knobs on the Prophet 08

Hey I am looking at getting a prophet 08. I was wondering if anyone knew if the knobs on it are notched like the desktop evolver knobs? You know how they sort of click as you turn them? I don't really like this. And are the knobs of a better quality than the desktop evolver? Mine all feel pretty crap after a few years of use. Also the shift button on my evolver is buggered. Sometimes it registers a press as 2 presses or none at all. Anyone know how to fix this? Yeah but evolver still rocks! woo-hoo. Justin
