Sound Tower Editor

2008-04-28 by Computer Controlled

So i just bought the ST Editor for my Evolver Desktop. However, when i
change any of the parameters on the editor, it doesn't change the
corresponding parameter in the Evolver. I get no change in sound at all.
Am i missing something here? I would assume when i change the Osc Freq
in the editor, i should hear it working... no?

Hi Larry -

Please check your MIDI Setup. It sounds as if the Editor isn't
communicating with the Evolver. Go into MIDI Setup (under the MIDI
menu). If the Editor is communicating with the Evolver, the upper part
of the MIDI Setup window will display the message "DSI - ROM Evolver
Software Version PIC XX/DSP XX" (if the Editor is not communicating
with Evolver, the MIDI Setup window will display "Not Connected").

If 'Not Connected', check for the proper MIDI connections between the
Evolver and your computer.

If you verify this and still have the problem, please let me know

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
