Soundtower P'08 editor connection problem

Soundtower P'08 editor connection problem

2008-04-21 by vortex9174

Hi,

Ok, I got my midi in and out connected to a midisport 2x2 and when I
turn a virtual knob it affects the P'08's sound so, I got a connection
of some kind. However, when I go to midi set-up it shows not connected
and does not display the firmware version and I selected my interface
from the menu bars and pressed the poll button and the screen still
displays as not connected. I'm trying to back up the factory bank so I
can start loading my own patches but,I imagine that won't happen till
this connection thing gets figured out. Thanks for any help in advance.

-Bob

Hi Bob,

What version of the Editor are you using, Mac or PC?

Hi Bob,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It appears that you only
have one-way MIDI communication with the Editor.

Please confirm that both MIDI IN and OUT are connected and configured
on your PC. That should correct the problem.

If you continue to experience problems here, please let me know.
